NEW PROJECTS
5,000 acre industrial park in Central, Texas with 2,000 acres being rail served. It will require the construction of roughly 15 miles of rail. A single county rail district is currently being formed to assist with this project.
80 miles of new rail to be constructed in South Texasto facilitate the industrial develop on the Texas an dMexico side of the Border.
3 new ethanol plants to be constructed in the Texas Panhandle. Rail development to serve these plants is a key component to the success of these projects.
Development of a industrial park in South Texas, near the Texas Gulf Coast. 13 miles of rail will be constructed to serve the industrial park.
Construction of 70-80 miles of rail in South Texas. Rail district is in place to assist with the coordination of the project.
Airport project in East Texas. Already designated a "Free Trade Zone" we are seeking to construct a rail spur into the airport facility. A single county rail district has been formed to assist us with this project.
Development of a container/intermodal facility in West Texas to the benefit of a major distribution center. A two county rail district has been put in place to assist with the project.

What We can do for You
- The Rail Alliance will host a workshop for a Texas County
interested in forming a rail district to increase economic growth and stimulate new business.
- The economic development director ,local elected officials and local
business representatives attend the workshop to discuss the counties needs.
- The County recognizes the advantages of forming a rail district.
- The rail district is formed by a resolution from the county judge.
- The rail district is a non taxing entity and a board of directors is
appointed to serve by the county commissioners.
- The rail alliance is contracted to assist the new rail district to be
profitable and successful.
- the rail alliance will educate and walk the board through the process
set up a web site and marketing plan.
- The rail alliance will provide credible resources and assist the rail
district board with funding options either by State, Federal, private or by issuing bonds for it's projects.
- The rail alliance membership provides private companies the ability
to bid on rail district projects and act as a liaison between the rail district board and the independent contractors to insure competent services.
- Once the rail district is formed the county has no continuing
liability and the rail district can issue bonds and operate independently.
- The rail alliance will use it's experience and expertise to assist each
county rail district with all the resources and requirements to provide a profitable and successful rail program for the economic growth in their county.
